 FREE TAX CREDIT

Press Release Regarding Free Tax Credit Extension For New Home Buyers and
Free Tax Credit For Existing Home Owners
Press Release For Immediate Release
ReMax Greater Atlanta and John Santiago Announces

The legislation, which passed the Senate on Wednesday, will extend the
current $8,000 first-time homebuyer tax credit, as well as establish a new
$6,500 tax credit for "move-up" buyers so long as the home they are leaving
has been used as a principal residence for five years or more. Both the
$8,000 first-time home buyer credit as well as the $6,500 credit for
"move-up" buyers will sunset on April 30, 2010. However, individuals who
have contracts to buy a home as of April 30, 2010, will still qualify for
the credit so long as they complete the transaction within 60 days. Tax
credits such as this only work by creating the sense of urgency to take
advantage of them, bringing people back to the marketplace. So this is a
unique opportunity because this is the final extension of this tax credit.
Congress will not continue this tax credit past April 30, 2010.

Great News!!!!!!

This is great news for everyone! Whether you are a first time homebuyer or
looking to "move-up" with a growing family or "downsize" as empty nesters.
There is something for everyone. These tax credits will apply as long as
you do not owe any money to the IRS. If you owe them, they will of course
take their portion right off the top before sending to you.
I have been watching the market diligently to ensure I pass on the best
information I can to my clients, friends and family. My service area is the
Metro Atlanta area and several of the outlying counties. I work with buyers
and sellers. If you or someone you know would like additional information
about the tax credit or would like a comparative market analysis done please
give me a call. I would be glad to assist you.

The best referrals I can receive is referrals from friends, family and past
clients!
